About Us

Papillon Preschool is part of the Putro Budi Wijoyo Foundation, dedicated to advancing early childhood education. Founded by Dina Budiarto, B.Des, Dipl. Montessori, a passionate educator born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, Papillon is a realization of her vision for international-standard education for young children.

After graduating from Swinburne University of Technology in 2013, had two kids of her own, and earning her Montessori Diploma in 2021, the mother of two began a playdate program in Temanggung in 2022 under the name Ruang Kirana. This initiative laid the foundation for Papillon Preschool, where we continue to nurture curiosity, creativity, and compassion in every child. We named our school "Papillon" because it captures the heart of our vision. Just as a caterpillar enters its cocoon and emerges as a beautiful butterfly, we welcome each child to our preschool as they are—full of potential, wonder, and curiosity. During their time with us, we aim to nurture and guide them through a meaningful journey of growth and transformation.

By the time they graduate, they will have blossomed into confident, empathetic, and well-rounded individuals, ready to spread their wings and take on the world. Papillon symbolizes the magical process of childhood education—a time when small, delicate beginnings unfold into something extraordinary.
